Please note, the Neighborhood Watch Program is not a substitute for law enforcement and residents should not hesitate calling the Police Non-Emergency number (258-3600) to report suspicious activites or  "911" for Emergencies.

Purpose of Neighborhood Watch:

From time to time, fellow residents may suffer damage to vehicles and property due to vandalism.  Additionally, there may be reports of suspicious vehicles, criminal mischief and burglaries in our neighborhood.  The Neighborhood Watch Program is designed to help deter these situations from happening by assisting our local law enforcement with information and communicating to area residents when they do happen.

The key is successful OBSERVATION and COMMUNICATION.  The Neighborhood Watch Captain will help facilitate communication to area residents, by utilizing the Calling Post neighborhood phone messaging systems for situations that warrant its use and by e-mail to residents.

Safety Reminders!

  1.  Lock your doors.
  2.  Close your garage doors... Do not leave your garage door open if you are not in the garage or sitting in front of it. It only takes a minute to become a victim!
  3. Install motion detector lights on the back of your home, especially if you live on the golf course! It is much cheaper than replacing your valuables and could save your home from being burglarized.
  4. Pay attention to your surroundings and report anything suspicious to the non-emergency police number at 258-3600.  They will send someone to check it out.
